MANOS JUNTAS MEXICO has been growing in different ways to serve better our community; we have understood that working together with them towards a better community relationship, health, and of course, making education available to kids, plus working together with them to empower them by providing job skills and work opportunities can bring better and long lasting impact in their lives. Below you have a brief description of some of our progress. Our theme to start a new ministry has been the lesson we can find when God asked Moses, -what is that in your hand?... God wants us to give His message by using the tools that are in our hands. (Exodus 4:2-5)

RIO BRAVO

VAMOS TAMAULIPAS COMMUNITY CENTER. Yearly budget $14,400.00 US.

This summer we graduated 12 from the Preschool program and 8 from the Elementary School program. Currently we have 80 kids, 23 kids in Preschool and 57 in Elementary School. They also received free school supplies, some uniforms that were donated by a church in Houston. A documentary about this community center and the work of Manos Juntas is being edited after more than 30 hours of filming. WHAT IS MANOS JUNTAS VIM MEXICO?

Manos Juntas VIM Mexico is a ministry of the Methodist Church of Mexico serving as your connection to the different ministries and churches of the Northastern area of Mexico. MJM VIM has been ministering Christian help and values to a large number of people in the Northeast region of Mexico in the State of Tamaulipas for more than 15 years. Ourfacilities are located in the city of Rio Bravo, 15 minutes away from McAllen, Texas, and we have been helping our community since 1992.

MJM VIM manages programs that affect the lives of thousands of people every year: Children. Education, Community, Medical and Construction are the main areas where MJM VIM focuses its efforts and those of our partner churches, organizations and individuals that support the ministry through their financial and in-kind donations.

Our Director, Guillermo “Willie” Berman (GBGM Missionary 3019612)and our dedicated staff are committed to the goals of the ministry and the people that we serve.

We are in a process of constant development of new ways to make our programs touch the lives of more people, Serving them with a Christian Heart.
